Hello! Aly Dosdall with you again today to share some fun inspiration for Father’s Day scrapbooking. I always enjoy visiting with my SCT friends, and I’m excited to share this fun project using one of my favorite new tools and a fun new paper collection from We R Memory Keepers—the Banner Punch Board and Denim Blues collection. Since life is so busy these days, I wanted to create a special Father’s Day layout for my hubby to celebrate photos from the moments we do get to be together.
Supplies: Patterned Paper (Heidi Swapp, Pink Paislee, We R Memory Keepers); Wood Veneers (Crate Paper, Heidi Swapp, Studio Calico); Enamel Dots (We R Memory Keepers); Date and Phrase Roller Stamps (Dear Lizzy for American Crafts); Banner Punch Board (We R Memory Keepers); machine stitching
To create this scrapbook page I started by cutting several banners from the Denim Blues paper in varying sizes and shapes. I love the texture that the real denim fabric adds to my page. And since the denim fabric is backed with paper it cuts beautifully with the Banner Punch Board.
This punch board cuts three different shape banners in several sizes. Measurements for all three shapes—pennant, flag, and crest--are found right on the board, so it’s super convenient and versatile.
Once I created all my banners, I machine stitched them, along with my photos and a few patterned paper banners, across the bottom of my page to create a garland.
To finish off my page, I added some border strips across the top and bottom, a wood veneer title and embellishments, enamel dots, and some stamped journaling. I can’t wait to share this Father’s Day page with my hubby—I hope he likes it!
Since I’m so excited to be here with you today I’ve got a giveaway for you wonderful SCT fans! In fact, I’ve got two—one Banner Punch Board, and one Denim Blues Collection! Woohoo!
If you’d like an opportunity to win one of these fun prizes, leave a comment below by Wednesday, June 24th sharing how you would use these new goodies and we’ll choose two random winners! Good luck!
Thanks so much for letting me share this Father’s Day project with you today! To check out more instructional and project-based videos, visit the We R Memory Keepers YouTube channel HERE. For daily inspiration and We R Memory Keepers news, visit their blog HERE. Creative cheers!

Love how your layout turned out! The banner board is such a neat tool and I love the denim pad. They would come in handy for birthday parties. Instead of buying cheap looking banners at the dollar store, I would create a home made one that could be used year after year!
