Thank you so much for joining us for Stampin’ Up! Inspiration Saturday! We are thrilled to have two Stampin’ Up! demonstrators here to share some of their ideas using the beautiful Floral Wings stamp set.
The floral wings stamp set is one of the exclusive hostess stamp sets that Stampin’ Up! reserves specifically for purchase by their workshop hostesses.
Let’s see what Susy Coté has created!
“The first card I have for you is one that I created with my occasional clients in mind. I know that this one will ensure they come stamping with me again!”
“If you are like me, you want your envelopes to match your card perfectly. This year, Stampin’ Up! is innovating with a range of papers that are thinner than the patterned papers and especially designed to make envelopes. Two patterns are currently available.”
“There are all kinds of butterflies at Stampin’ Up! Stamps, punches, Thinlits and Framelits dies and even a new embossing folder filled with embossed patterns! If you don’t already have your own butterfly collection, it’s time to start one because we sure have a lot of choices. This is one of my favorites; it’s so cute, so I have decided to capture it in a mini-vivarium. This way, I can contemplate it every day with no worries that it will fly away!”
“The benefit of having coordinating stamps and Framelits dies is to be able to create various looks. Here, I have played with the negative cutout of the butterfly and the semi-transparency of the vellum cardstock through which we can see the floral details through the wings of this wonderful butterfly. This stamp set is so versatile that I was able to sneak in some roses stamped in Rich Razzleberry on the patterned paper, which initially had only leaves in the background!”
“What is better than a hand-made gift bag to personalize a gift that comes from the heart? With an inspiring patterned paper and the Gift Bag Punch Board, create customized bags for your projects! Then, embellish to your liking. On this bag, I have stacked one of the butterfly from the Butterflies Thinlits dies on top of another from the Bold Butterfly Framelits dies. As you can see, those two die-cuts complement each other really well.”
Wow! Thank you so much Susy for sharing your ideas with us! Up next is the talented Carol Matthews who has joined us before. Let’s check out what she’s made!
“Who doesn't love butterflies - I know my customers do. These framelits are so versatile we use them on cards, and tags, and gifts. One of my customers asked me to create a mobile to hang for when her new grandbaby visited.
The frame is just a 12" embroidery hoop (inside piece) wrapped in the beautiful Mint Macaron 1" Dotted Lace Trim. The lace was also used to hang the mobile.”
“This is a simple and quick card I've used with new stampers. The photopolymer stamps are flexible and were shaped to make a rose bower.”
“My customers were a little nervous when I explained there were no directions for this card, just stamp! But once they started, they loved it, and every card was different.”
“My Summer Celebrations class that featured ways to fancy up summer barbeques and get-togethers. These food safe Kraft bags were made for cookies.”
“Wouldn’t this napkin and cutlery pocket add pizzazz to an outdoor summer birthday party? I think so!”
Thank you so much Susy and Carol! All of your projects use these stamps in such different ways! We love them!
