Hello everybody! Today, I am thrilled to share an amazing bundle available from the current Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog. The Botanical Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies combine for countless gorgeous options.
Just look at all of these amazing stamps and dies!
At first glance, this bundle may seem strictly tropical, like a luscious Hawaiian vacation. But in reality, it has so may other possibilities! Here are a few projects I created to show how this bundle could be used in other ways.
For the first project, I created a winter themed Project Life page. The large flower center from my tropical card doubles here as beautiful snowflakes cut from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. The sentiment is from the Picture Perfect stamp set.
Next, I created feathers using the tropical leaf die on Typeset Designer Series Paper. I cut the edges with my paper snips and added Gold Wink of Stella for shimmer. This card has a more masculine feel, although you could give it to anyone on your list.
After that, I created a notecard using the tropical flower as a butterfly. (I'll show you how easy it is at the end of this post!) Clear Wink of Stella gives the edges shimmer.
I had so much fun with this bundle, I just couldn't stop! I wanted to show the many possibilities, so I created two more cards using the layout from my tropical card.
The pink card uses one of the smaller blooms and the little leaves were snipped off of the end of the fern die. This card would be perfect for a baby gift or a feminine birthday card.
For the butterfly card below, I cut the flower out of Typeset Designer Series Paper. I purposely left sentiments off because none come with the set, but you could add just about any sentiment.
It's so quick and easy to turn the flower into a butterfly. I simply used my paper snips to remove one petal.
I cut each side to make a v and viola! A beautiful butterfly instead of a flower!
I added Clear Wink of Stella for some shimmer and gold metallic thread for antennae.
So whether you'd like to create vibrant tropical flowers or a sparkly winter wonderland, a masculine feeling notecard or a sweet welcome for a new baby girl, you can see the Botanical Blooms Photopolymer Bundle is incredibly versatile. In fact, the possibilities keep on going from there. I just know you'll enjoy it as much as I have!" ~Michelle Long
