Hello everyone, and Happy interNational Scrapbooking Day! It’s Sheri Reguly here this hour to share my take on Kim Watson’s gorgeous layout from the spring issue entitled, You Are My Joy. If you're just joining us be sure to start at our 9:00 am post HERE!
page 68 by Kim Watson
There were so many wonderful little details about Kim’s layout that inspired me, the biggest though being the multicolored title. I didn’t have similar letter stickers to use for my title so I improvised using my computer and printer. (Using a colorful selection of papers and my die cutting machine would have been an alternative option too!)
In addition to the colorful title, I was also inspired by her soft color palette, her trio of B&W photos, as well as the large patterned paper photo corner, all of which I carried over into my own design. Some close ups:
(Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper: American Crafts, Studio Calico, Webster’s Pages; Enamel Dots: My Mind’s Eye; Wooden Veneer and Puffy Sticker: Pinkfresh Studio; Standout Sticker: Crate Paper; Other: heart dies, cork)
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it (lol!): Create a layout with a multi coloured title treatment! Share your "10:00 am challenge" with us three ways: by email at ideas@scrapbookandcards.com, by uploading it to our Facebook page or tag us on Instagram (@sctmagazine) by May 15th! If you do, you'll be entered to win a one year subscription to Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine and a $100 mystery box prize!

SCT you definitely rock in all things you do! First the inspirational pages from your Spring issue and then Sheri Reguly's take on it. Second I'm a huge fan of die cuts (especially the thin ones) and I don't have a storage system for them yet. So really awesome giveaways. Thanks SCT. :)
