Hello SCT readers, Marla with you! If you're just joining us now, we share the theme of the day in THIS post! I hope you’re enjoying interNational Scrapbooking Day and feeling inspired by all of the amazing projects on the blog. Recently I was inspired by a layout called “Play Everyday” by Sarah Webb (page 72, spring issue).
I loved the directional chevron design on this layout, the text strips and the fun title. These elements drove me to create a layout of my own titled “This happened.”
I created a directional element with the patterned paper drawing the eye to the photo. I tucked in the title and added journaling strips, similar to what Sarah had done. Thank you Sarah Webb and ALL of you readers for inspiring me everyday! ~ Marla

Nice layouts. I really liked the way that you are drawn right to the picture in Marla's layout. Everything else on the page was subtle enough to do that.
Although I haven't used Project Life so far, I find it fascinating and Stampin' Ups prize looks amazing.
Everyone can always use adhesives so the prize from Scrapbook Adhesives is a smart prize to have.
