Scrapbook & Cards Today Blog: "12 Days of Holiday Giving!" DAY SEVEN!

December greetings! It's Virginia with you today! I hope you are enjoying all the excitement and festivities of this year’s holiday season! One of my classic go-to supplies is the use of twine, it’s so versatile and I think I have every colour combination under the rainbow. Wrap twine around a photo, thread it through buttons, hand-stitch on your pages- oh the possibilities are endless!

On my card I wrapped the twine around the inside perimeter of my card anchored by brads in the corner, sort of like adding a row of stitching but much quicker. I have to admit I am bit fussy when it comes to tying a perfect bow, it has to be tight with the loops and ends even…raise your hand if you get what I mean, tee hee. My solution when I need an extra pair of hands to secure the middle of the bow is to use my tweezers and a binder clip to, then I just take my time to tie the bow- voila and tight and tidy bow!
