Hello! Sheri Reguly here today, with a festive set of holiday cards to share with you, along with a free holiday frame cut file to incorporate into your own holiday card making! You can download it here!
When creating cards in bulk, I personally find it easiest to tackle 4 – 6 at a time. I like to gather all of my supplies, cut and trim in advance, so that everything’s ready to go...assembly line style.
My first step was to back the open space of my die cut frames with patterned paper, and back the sentiment openings with gold glittered cardstock.
Next, I mounted the die cut frames onto blocks of patterned paper, and secured a width of gold and white baker’s twine along the bottom edge of the frame opening.
To complete my cards, I adhered a variety of premade die cut embellishments within the frame, using adhesive foam to add some dimension. Next I adhered my layered sentiment, and finished with tied bow, decorative clip, and a couple of enamel dots. Once complete, my card fronts were ready to adhere to the premade card bases I created in advance using plain white cardstock.
Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper: Fancy Pants Designs, American Crafts; Holiday Die Cuts: Bella Blvd; Metal Dies: Paper Smooches, My Favorite Things; Enamel Dots: Simple Stories, My Mind’s Eye; Bow Clips: Crate Paper; Other: Gold Glittered Cardstock, Baker’s Twine
Thank you so much for joining me today. Be sure to download the free holiday frame cut file here! I wish you and your family a very merry, and happy holiday season! :)
