"12 Days of Holiday Giving!" DAY THREE!

Hello SCT readers! Today I wanted to share with you my updated advent calendar, made especially easy thanks to Doodlebug Designs fun Christmas line.

The squares were all cut from ONE sheet of paper! So it started out looking like this, which is already pretty cute.

Then I just started adding some embellishments with dimensional adhesive over the existing designs. I painted the snowy areas and hat trims with glue to attach sparkly glitter.  And then I finished off the designs with enamel dots, brads and sticker sentiments.

Behind each decorated square is a photo from the past year. Each day we remove the square, revealing the photo and remembering the event. At the end of the month we have a year full of memories hanging on the wall (the frame and photos stay up year round).
