It is always important to learn about and appreciate not only our own family's culture and history, but also that of this great country. Sometimes we need reminders of how special this country is and not to take it for granted.

Canada has a rich history beginning with the First Nations and we still owe it to them that they believe in preservation of our environment. It is our duty to repair the damages and trauma that they did not deserve. Recognizing their cultural heritage and legacy through totem poles and Inukshuk are significantly important for Canadians.
