Summer on Prince of Wales Island in Alaska has been hot and dry which is very unusual for this rain forest.
Bright blue skies, forest green hemlocks, luscious pink salmon berries are just a few colors of summer. Silver salmon will be running along with the brown bear looking for a meal. Time for gathering plump blueberries and chanterelle mushrooms. Time also for planning my scrapbook projects for the rainy days that are in my forecast. Your slice of summer paper would be a great addition to my stash.
