Hi everyone! Jen here, and where I'm at in the US, fall is quickly approaching! Today I thought I would share a layout I created to document our Halloween costumes last year. Halloween is my favorite holiday to scrapbook, hands down. I just love the color combinations and bright photos!
Supplies: Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned Paper: Bella Blvd, Doodlebug; Embellishments: Bella Blvd, Doodlebug, Studio Calico; Letter Stickers: Fancy Pants, Ali Edwards
For this layout, I went with a grid design. I printed my vertical 4x6 photo and added it to the right side of the page. For my patterned papers, I chose Halloween themed papers from Bella Blvd and Doodlebug.
I also used some transparencies from Bella Blvd and layered them up on a plain grid paper. This was the perfect place to add my title. I used black letter stickers from my stash, and embellished with a few stars and some Halloween cardstock shapes.
For my journaling, I typed it up and cut into strips. I thought it would look great against this black patterned paper and I love how it turned out!
To finish the layout, I continued embellishing with Halloween die cuts and stickers. This ended up being a great design to include my photo plus some meaningful journaling.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today! Have a great week.

What a beautiful page. I agree. Love that color combination. And, the printed paper against the black looks wonderful!
