Get the creative juices flowing with a PageMaps sketch!

Good morning!  It's Monday and the start of a brand new creative week in a brand new creative year so why not start it with a great PageMaps sketch!  Each issue editor Becky Fleck creates amazing layout and card sketches for our readers.  We thought a little sketch challenge would be perfect this morning especially for those that are in a deep-freeze here in Canada and in the US!

Use this sketch to inspire a layout and be sure to send us an image at [email protected]. You might just see your work appear on the SCT blog in the next few weeks!

A sketch challenge just for you!

Who doesn't love a sketch!  Personally, I like to use sketches as a jumping off point to get me inspired and to get scrapbooking!

In each issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today, Becky Fleck provides Pagemap sketches to our designers.  She also creates a number of bonus sketches specifically for SCT readers. 

 

Today's challenge is to create a layout using one of the bonus sketches from the fall issue.  With square sketches, horizontal sketches, card sketches, and double page layouts, there is something for everyone.  Flip the sketch, stretch the sketch, show us what you create!

Are you looking for a bit of help? Here are the layouts that three designers created for the fall issue using pagemap sketches. 

Once you have created your layout, link back to us in the comment section of this post.  We may have a goodie for one lucky scrapbooker!

PageMaps U...a free class!

Our "editor extraordinaire" Becky Fleck wears many hats.  Not only does Becky work with the SCT team to create an inspiring issue of Scrapobok & Cards Today each season, but she is also the owner of PageMaps.com!  On the first of each month Becky creates and releases amazing exclusive sketches and design team inspiration at PageMaps...for free!  Yes, for free.   This past weekend Becky announced PageMaps U and we are just a little excited to go back to university!  Here is a little bit about PageMaps U:
